"Anyone can find the dirt in someone. Be the one that finds the GOLD.” Proverbs 11:27

WHAT IS A BETTER RESPONSE?

We all want justice for how poorly other human beings treat us. There are many names to describe mistreatment: CRUELTY, SAVAGE, EVIL, SIN, ETC…

WHAT IS A BETTER RESPONSE?

When we get in those situations where our hearts are burden with immense pain, anger, frustration, and a whole lot of grief, we may not take the path of the wise.

Our hearts innately want to be known by “the other”.

Our hearts want “the other” to know just how much pain we are experiencing due to their sin.

However, most of the time, “the other” will NOT understand, because they are not YOU.

Good news is that we do have a higher power who knows our hearts. He knows the injustice. He knows your emotions. He knows the sin that occurred. He knows what you hope and wish would have happened. He knows what you are about to do.

God Knows…

In the split moment of choosing one response over another; you will most likely, probably, make a mistake. You will choose the less wise path. Own the mistake but give yourself GRACE too.

The world is broken. The world has a lot of sin. The world has human beings who know what they are doing. The world has human beings who don’t know what they are doing.

It will be okay.

Let emotion of anger, frustration, grief come up, but recognize that it won’t be helpful for you or anyone if you don’t first take a step back. Ask yourself…

WHAT IS A BETTER RESPONSE IN THIS MOMENT?

You will make a mistake. You will fail. You will allow your emotions to take over your mind.

However…

Keep trying.

Keep practicing

by doing good

for

YOU and GOD.

On the other side of things it’s not helpful for “the other” if we as human beings judge them for failing; being human.

It’s not about you.
You are imposing what you would never do. You don’t know if you would do or never do in that same situation, because you are not that person. You were never in their situation. You are not them. You are you.

What is a better response?

Refresh the soul.

Wisdom to the simple.

Rejoicing the heart.

Enlightening the eye.

Pslam 20:8-9

"He will quiet you with His love." Zephaniah 3:17

“He reached down from heaven and rescued me; he drew me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemies, from those who hated me and were too strong for me. They attacked me at a moment when I was in distress, but the Lord supported me. He led me to a place of safety; he rescued me because he delights in me. The Lord rewarded me for doing right; he restored me because of my innocence. For I have kept the ways of the Lord; I have not turned from my God to follow evil.”

Psalm 18:16-21

“You, then, why do you judge your brother or sister? Or why do you treat them with contempt? For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat.”

Romans 14:10

"The LORD will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.”

Exodus 14:14
